Welcome to Squirrels!
At Stelling Minnis C of E Primary School, Squirrel class consists of year 1 and year 2. I am Miss Smithson, the class teacher, who is thankful to have Miss Lee, Mrs Melville and Miss Jago by my side.
We are so lucky to be apart of our Stelling Minnis community which has a close link to our local farm, the children love Farmer Henry and Farmer Max, as well as two local churches, St Mary's Church, Stelling and St Peter & St Paul's Church, Upper Hardres.
Our learning takes place on a two year cycle and includes our new core concepts for the year: Impact and Power, Perception and Empathy and Celebration and Change.
On Tuesday afternoons, we have specialist teachers Mrs Horton, teaching PE, and Mr Melville, teaching music. On Wednesdays, Russel and Tom from Primary Sports Giants take the Squirrels for Welly Wednesday Forest School.
