Unit Two: Farm 2 Fork

In Unit Two students learn how food travels from the farm to their plate. They explore where ingredients come from, how they are grown, and what choices help reduce our carbon footprint. Pupils harvest seasonal produce, practise basic cooking skills, and prepare simple recipes using fresh ingredients from the  farm. Throughout the unit, learners discover how eating locally, reducing waste, and choosing sustainable foods can help protect the environment. This hands‑on approach builds healthy eating habits while encouraging responsibility for the planet.
