Welcome to Mice!
The children in this class are in Reception. Our teacher is Mrs Brown and our teaching assistants are Mrs Campbell and Ms Lee. One afternoon a week our class is taught by Mrs Gifford. The children have specialist PE sessions twice a week with Mrs Horton.
We have a lovely classroom with our own outdoor area. Each week we participate in Welly Wednesday in our lovely wooded area with shelter, fire pit and poly tunnel. We follow the EYFS framework and strive to ensure that the children develop a lifelong love of learning, a healthy curiosity and the ability to ask questions through the freedom of choice and exploration.
We recognise the importance of social, emotional and physical development and ensure that each child is supported to become independent and confident through a combination of teacher and child led learning.
We encourage parents to join us through the year at assemblies, information events, worship and themed activities in the classroom.
