Music Shines Brightly at Stelling Minnis
We believe that music is a powerful way to inspire creativity, confidence and self expression. Through our engaging music curriculum, our children develop their musical knowledge, skills and appreciation whilst experiencing the joy of music.
We have an extensive range of musical instruments in school and our skilled peripatetic music teacher ensure that our children are able to explore and utilise these resources. We engage with the Charanga music scheme to ensure progression of skills and knowledge so that lesson build on prior learning and introduce children to a wide range of musical styles, traditions, and cultures.
Music is woven through our broad and balanced curriculum and our students have the opportunity to take part in opportunities such as performing at the O2 Arena, charivari parade and as well as taking part in hymn practice, worship, music clubs and more.
