At Stelling Minnis CE Primary School, we believe learning should continue wherever our children are. Whether in the classroom or at home, our aim is to provide every pupil with meaningful learning experiences and strong connections with their teachers and peers. Stelling Minnis is committed to reducing any disruption to learning in the event of any school closure.
Using Dojo & Teams to connect home and school
We use Class Dojo and Microsoft Teams as our main platform for remote education, homework, and communication. It’s a simple, secure, and creative way to share learning and keep families involved in their child’s education.
Through Dojo, we can:
- Set and share homework – Teachers post activities, assignments, and resources that pupils can complete at home. Children can respond by writing, drawing, recording audio, or uploading photos and videos of their work.
- Communicate easily – Parents and carers can message teachers directly and receive important updates, helping to keep communication open and consistent.
- Celebrate learning together – Families can see what their children are working on and comment on their progress, strengthening the partnership between home and school.
Through Microsoft Teams, we can:
- Support remote learning – When learning takes place from home, Seesaw allows us to deliver lessons, share feedback, and maintain our high standards of teaching and learning.
- Celebrate learning together – Families can see what their children are working on and comment on their progress, strengthening the partnership between home and school.
