In Badgers Class, homework and spellings are set at the beginning of each term.
The children may choose which activity they complete each week, giving you flexibility to choose an activity which fits in with your own schedules and commitments. Children bring in their homework on a Friday to celebrate.
Spellings are provided for the whole term, broken down into weekly lists. We practise these together on a Friday. We encourage the children to learn the spelling but also explore the meaning of the words. We use The Spelling Shed to support our teaching of spelling to the children.
