Ongoing research shows that family engagement in schools improves pupil achievement, reduces absenteeism, and
restores parents' confidence in their children's education. Pupils
with involved parents or other caregivers do better at school, have better social skills, and show improved behaviour.
We encourage parental engagement wherever we can. We arrange regular meetings throughout the year to share methods of learning to help your child with reading, writing or mathematics. We have a Parent Forum where parents and teachers meet to discuss our School Improvement Plan and parent consultations are held at timely intervals where you get the opportunity to discuss your child's development with his or her teacher.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch to discuss any concerns you may have. An appointment (usually before or after school time) can be arranged with any member of staff via the school office.
