School Improvement Plan
The purpose of the school improvement plan is to improve
the quality of teaching and learning in the school, so that greater
numbers of pupils achieve proficiency in the core academic subjects of
reading and mathematics.
A school improvement plan is a roadmap that sets out the changes a
school needs to make to improve the level of student achievement, and
shows how and when these changes will be made.
An effective school improvement plan results when the teachers, governors, school councils, parents, and other community members work as a
team to establish priorities, set goals for improvement, implement
strategies to achieve those goals, and evaluate progress. A unique plan,
refined annually, defines a school's targeted work to raise achievement
for all of its students.
