Have you heard of Speed Stacking? Our children took part in this challenge recently at school. It involves stacking plastic cups in specific sequences in as little time as possible. The cups are specially designed to allow for faster times. The children stacked cups in pre-determined sequences either as pyramids of 3, 6, or 10 cups and players compete against each other or against the clock. The children had a lot of fun at the same time as developing hand-eye coordination, speed and ambidexterity. It's not quite an Olympic sport but it is an officially recognised sport worldwide!
